Platform Safeguards

Engineered for Campus Trust

Flexible Account Options

To keep the platform accessible yet secure, you can sign in using either your personal Google account or your official Bicol University student account. Logins are processed securely by Google APIs, no password data is ever seen or stored by this app.

Building Landmarks

Browse posts organized by Bicol University campuses and campus buildings. Zero in on the exact library, entrance, or college hall where an item went missing.

Encrypted Local Chat

Communicate directly and coordinate safe handovers through our built-in real-time messaging panel. Never share your personal social links or mobile numbers.

Independent Student Initiative

This board is developed by a student, for the BU community, and is completely unaffiliated with Bicol University's administration. Every report, comment, and message is private and under your direct control, deleting a post purges it instantly from our database.

Campus Safety Guidelines

Safe Handovers & High-Value Items

Your physical safety is the highest priority when recovering items:

  • 1.High-Value Recommendation: For highly valuable items (phones, laptops, cash, tablets), we strongly recommend surrendering them directly to the Campus Security Office or College Dean’s office.
  • 2.Direct Meetups: If owner and finder still choose to coordinate a direct meetup, they must meet in broad daylight, at busy public campus areas (e.g., college entrance, library lobby).
  • 3.Bring a Companion: Never meet alone. Always invite a classmate or friend to accompany you to the exchange meeting.

Prohibited Practices

To preserve student trust, this board enforces strict moderation boundaries:

  • 1.Absolutely No Fee Demands: Returning items is a goodwill service. Requesting recovery fees, finder rewards, or demanding financial exchanges is strictly banned.
  • 2.Verify Proof: Owners must verify unique details (passwords, serial numbers, specific scratches) to guarantee ownership before meetups.
  • 3.Report Scams: Flag dummy postings or reward solicitation using the "Report" queue options.

Disclaimer: This platform is an individual student project and is not officially associated, run by, or endorsed by Bicol University. Users assume full responsibility and risk for all item handovers and communications coordinated via this platform.
