Individual Project Disclaimer
This web app is an independent student initiative and has no official affiliation or association with Bicol University. All databases and OAuth integrations are managed separately as an individual developer project.
1. Data Collection & OAuth Login
To ensure safety and simplify account creation, this platform uses Google Sign-In (OAuth). When you log in, we retrieve the following basic details from your Google Account:
- Your full name (for profile identity)
- Your school/personal email address (for account credentials and user communication)
- Your Google profile photo URL (for avatar generation)
2. Data Display & Visibility
As a peer-to-peer lost and found board, communication between searchers and finders is essential. By posting items on this board:
- Your **name** and **email address** are visible on your posts, enabling other students to contact you to arrange handovers.
- Messages submitted inside claim panels are private communications between the claimer and the item poster.
- We do not share, sell, or rent your database records to any third-party organizations.
3. Data Control & Deletion
You retain complete ownership over the items you report. You can delete your listings or comments at any time, which permanently purges them from the public listings.
